Wakayama Interpreter Volunteer Club

Welcome to Wakayama, Japan! The Wakayama Interpreter Volunteer Club offers free guided tours of Wakayama Prefecture in Japan, which has many historical buildings, sacred sites, and beautiful beaches

It is about 2 hours from Osaka and 3 hours from Kyoto by train.

The Wakayama Interpreters Volunteer Club is made up of Goodwill Guides and is affiliated with the Japan National Tourist Organization.

Our members are always doing their best to guide foreign tourists who visit Koyasan, Kinokawa City and Wakayama City.

We know a lot of information about many cultural and historical aspects of these areas and aim to make your visit as insightful and enjoyable as we can.

Please be aware that although we are a volunteer group, we request 4,000 yen per guide to cover the cost of things such as transportation.
